Dining in St. Tropez
Popularised in the 1950's by celebrities from all over the world, St. Tropez has become the ultimate hot spot, filled with beautiful beaches, great shopping, and a vibrant nightlife. Brunch at "Le Girelier"
Enjoy your brunch in a prime location in St. Tropez by the St. Tropez port, looking onto majestic gulf ships and yachts. This is also the prime location for people watching, as you can see the streets flourishing with life along the port. By the port, you can expect a late fresh seafood brunch, prepared by this two-star Michelin restaurant. This dining spot is perfect for those who enjoyed a long night out, as it opens at noon. But for those early risers, there's nothing wrong with grabbing a quick croissant early in the morning, before heading to Le Girelier.
"Dinner at La Vague d’Or"
Rated by many as the best restaurant in St. Tropez, do not miss your opportunity to dine at La Vague d'Or. This restaurant is home to Arnaud Donckele, the world's youngest three-Michelin-starred chef. Arnaud is inspired by the flavors of Provence, and creates the most innovative gastronomic delicacies that one can experience. It doesn't hurt that the restaurant itself is situated by the water and has beautiful indoor and outdoor sitting arrangements. It is so pretty here, you'll never want to leave St. Tropez!
Dessert at "Le Tarte Tropezzienne"
The “Tarte Tropézienne” is a staple of the St. Tropez dining experience. A delicate tarte created in the 1950's, and named by Brigitte Bardotte herself. This delicious pastry is a modification of the French Brioche, as it is essentially a brioche split in two, and filled with a secret cream recipe. While the "tarte tropézienne” may be found in more locations today, La Tarte Tropezienne is where it all began and is the original home of this pastry. This is not to say that all of the other baked goods from this bakery are not amazingly delicious. Honestly, we recommend one of each!
