There are perfectly starched white tablecloths on round tables, people dressed in suits and creative plates akin to works of art. Mélisse is old school, but far, far away from old-fashioned. You’ll enjoy gazing at the collection of art adorning the walls of the bright and airy dining room. Here, you’ll have the option of choosing any type of steak and where it came from. The selection features five different farms including dry-aged USDA Prime beef from Kansas, grass-fed Angus from outside San Diego, and authentic Wagyu beef from Kyushu, Japan.
Cut was awarded the Michelin star in 2019 securing its rank as one of the finest steakhouses in Los Angeles. In addition to meat-based dishes, Cut also serves shellfish, seafood and has an extensive international wine list.On the palate: Twenty-eight-day wet aged filet mignon with caramelized onions, black summer truffles and field mushrooms or Jidori brick chicken with wild field mushrooms, chicken jus and delta asparagus with parmesan and green garlic.
